‘Tending the Hearth’

A 6-Week Group Journey

 

This six-week journey is an invitation to connect deeply with yourself, to nourish and nurture your inner world, and to create meaningful shifts in your life. 

The ‘inner hearth’ is the sacred centre of your being—a source of warmth, vitality, and wisdom. It represents your inner light and the energy that fuels your life. Tending to your inner hearth means nurturing yourself through self-care, aligning with your values, and restoring balance.

Each week, we’ll explore practices and rituals that centre around tending the inner hearth, and how to extend that warmth, strength, and wisdom into your relationships and community. Through weekly themes, exercises, and group reflections, you’ll strengthen your sense of purpose, deepen your self-care practices, and connect with others more consciously. By the end of this journey, my wish is that you’ll come away with some practical tools, renewed energy, and a deeper sense of connection to your inner wisdom and community.

 

Week 1: Reclaiming Sacred Self-Care

In this opening week, we’ll explore self-care as the vital practice of tending to your inner hearth—the place of your energy, strength, and peace. By reclaiming self-care as a sacred act, you’ll be able to fill your own cup first, ensuring that you have the energy to show up fully in all aspects of your life.

  • Practical tools for creating daily self-care rituals that honour your inner hearth.
  • A deeper understanding of how to nourish and protect yourself so that you can give from a place of abundance.

Week 2: Building Supportive Communities

This week, we focus on how the warmth and care we cultivate within ourselves can radiate outward, creating supportive, nurturing relationships. You’ll explore how to build and maintain relationships that honour your boundaries, provide mutual support, and cultivate a sense of belonging.

Week 3: Connecting to Purpose

This week, we’ll explore how tending to your inner hearth connects you to your deeper purpose. By understanding and honouring your core values, you’ll gain clarity on how to live a life aligned with your soul’s calling. When we nurture ourselves, we create space for our truest desires and passions to emerge, and we can bring those into the world with intention and authenticity.

Week 4: Embracing the Feminine Archetypes

In this week, we’ll explore the different feminine archetypes that reside within us, such as the nurturer, the warrior, the creative, and the wise crone. By tending to your inner hearth, you can embody these archetypes more fully, embracing the unique energies they offer. 

What you’ll gain:

  • A deeper understanding of the feminine archetypes within you.
  • The confidence to express these archetypes in your life and relationships.
  • A stronger connection to your own inner wisdom and power.

 

Week 5: Healing Through Storytelling

Our stories hold immense healing power. In this week, you’ll learn how to honour your own story, releasing the old narratives that no longer serve you and stepping into a more empowering version of your life’s journey. As you share your story with others in a safe and supportive space, you’ll experience the collective healing power of being witnessed and witnessing others. 

What you’ll gain:

  • The courage to share and rewrite your story in a way that empowers you.
  • The transformative practice of witnessing and being witnessed in a group.
  • Exploring storytelling as a form of healing and empowerment.

 

Week 6: Rituals and Symbolism

In our final week, we’ll explore the transformative power of rituals and symbols. These sacred practices help to create alignment between your inner world and outer reality. You’ll learn simple rituals that you can incorporate into your daily life to honour your values, intentions, and rhythms. 

What you’ll gain:

  • A deeper understanding of the power of rituals and symbols.
  • Practical tools for creating meaningful rituals that align with your personal values.
  • A sense of closure and completion, carrying forward the wisdom you’ve gathered on your journey.
